In traditional medicine and alternative medicine alike, pain is one of the biggest complaints patients have. Pain can cause loss of income, decreased quality of life, and contribute to anxiety and depression.
Tim Iliff LAc, is licensed in the state of Ohio to treat pain. He is recognized as an authority on pain acupuncture and mobility improvement and was the first acupuncturist employed by the United States Air Force to treat combat injuries and help reduce morphine dependency.
Tim has a deep understanding of pain and it’s root causes. He designed and taught numerous graduate courses on pain management acupuncture at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where he completed his master’s degree.
Tim also earned a doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science.
Tim is coming to us from 360 Healthcare, an integrative health center in South Carolina, where he worked with chiropractors and other healthcare practitioners.
Tim has also had a successful career as a certified personal trainer addressing sports injury recovery with Chinese medicine exercise. This unique experience helps him facilitate healing in athletes of all abilities, including those who are amputees.
He’s also had experience with competitive swimming, wrestling, rock climbing, weightlifting, and college gymnastics. His natural athleticism and 20 year Chinese Kung Fu practice has deepened his understanding of how the human body can move, adjust, and adapt to any kind of stress.
His current hobbies are chasing after his son, cross country skiing, fishing, Qigong, Tai chi, and Systema.
